Biography von Tim Rossovich

Timothy John Rossovich (born March 14, 1946 in Palo Alto, California, USA) is a retired American football linebacker and is currently an actor. He is the brother of actor Rick Rossovich.

Rossovich played college football at the University of Southern California and was one of five USC Trojans players taken in the first round of the 1968 NFL Draft after his senior year.

Tom Selleck was his college roommate at the University of Southern Califonia.
Rossovich was an All-American DE at USC and, while in the NFL, made his reputation as a guy who definitely marched to the beat of a drummer no one else knew of or heard! Was famous for pranks that gained him money on bets such as chewing glass and setting himself on fire. Never lived up to his potential as a player in the NFL and, every once in a while, you can see him on vintage NFL Films about the Eagles of the 60s and 70s.

Rossovich played for the National Football League Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers and Houston Oilers between 1968 and 1976. He played in the Pro Bowl in 1969.

When Tim Rossovich played for the Philadelphia Eagles, he shared a house with Steve Sabol of NFL Films fame. A couple years ago NFL Films did a segment with Steve Sabol reuniting with Rossovich and Gary Pettigrew, who was another Eagles player from the late 60's who roomed there.
